I write about the internet and its impact on our lives, thoughts, and emotions. More specifically, I think of myself as a literary theorist of the online experience, wading through the gnarly undergrowth of pixels with tomes of Barthes and Solnit. My essays have appeared in Polyester Zine, Public Books, Digital Frontier, and others.

When I'm not in the digital jungle, you can find me reviewing contemporary Asian literature (particularly literature in translation) for the Asian Review of Books and Scroll. I also occasionally interview authors and translators.
